Job Title: Senior Accountant Hybrid work environment

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our high-performing accounting team. You bring a solid foundation in accounting principles and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll play a critical role in the monthly close process, support cross-functional initiatives, and continuously seek ways to improve processes and controls.

As a key member of the Finance organization, you’ll report to the Accounting Manager and work closely with AP, Treasury, Tax, and FP&A. This position offers exposure to technical accounting, process improvement, system integration, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own critical components of the monthly and quarterly close processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses in accordance with US GAAP.

  • Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results, identify key trends, and provide clear commentary on variance drivers.

  • Collaborate across departments to support accounting for operational activities and business initiatives.

  • Participate in and drive efforts to automate and streamline manual processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.

  • Contribute to the design, testing, and implementation of internal controls and policies to support compliance and best practices.

  • Provide support for external audits, including preparation of schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor requests.

  • Support integration efforts for acquired entities and ensure alignment with existing accounting practices and systems.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience

  • Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP

  • Experience with large-scale ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday)

  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets

  • Strong understanding of accounting systems and ability to extract, reconcile, and interpret data

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative, team-first mindset

  • Ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid team environment


Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • CPA designation (or progress toward it)

  • Experience with Workday ERP

  • Background in the healthcare industry or working in regulated environments
