AIA Billing Specialist

Location: Mesa, AZ (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $23/hr - $25/hr
Experience: 1 – 3 years (AIA billing or construction AP experience)

Job Overview

We are seeking an AIA Billing Specialist to join our client's team. This role ensures accurate invoicing, contract compliance, and proper documentation while coordinating with project teams and general contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit AIA-style invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contracts.

• Verify work tickets, labor hours, and supporting documentation before invoicing.

• Track and manage invoice approvals in platforms like Textura and Procore.

• Process and issue lien waivers, pay applications, and change orders.

• Maintain financial records and assist with accounts receivable reconciliation.

• Ensure contract requirements, insurance certificates, and compliance documents are up to date.

Qualifications

• 1 – 3 years of experience in AIA billing or construction accounts payable.

• Strong understanding of contract terms and invoice processing.

• Proficiency in construction billing platforms (Aspire, Textura or, Procore preferred).

• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
