Cost Analyst – Contract to Hire – $90K -$105K– Mesa, AZ
LHH is partnering with a well-known client in Mesa, AZ, to hire a Cost Analyst on a contract-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented financial professional with construction industry experience to contribute to financial accuracy and project profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review cost reports, quotes, and project details to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and invoice jobs, ensuring timely and precise billing.
- Perform reconciliations and margin analysis to assess financial performance.
- Develop monthly billing estimates and conduct monthly WIP (Work in Progress) reviews.
- Assist with quarterly forecasting to support financial planning and projections.
- Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and internal financial controls.
- Utilize SAP software for financial reporting, forecasting, and data analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.
- 3+ years of cost analysis or financial analysis experience.
- Prior experience in the construction industry is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in SAP software and financial reporting tools.
- Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and internal audit procedures.
- Ability to conduct margin analysis, forecasting, and WIP reviews.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
