Cost Analyst – Contract to Hire – $90K -$105K– Mesa, AZ

LHH is partnering with a well-known client in Mesa, AZ, to hire a Cost Analyst on a contract-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented financial professional with construction industry experience to contribute to financial accuracy and project profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review cost reports, quotes, and project details to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and invoice jobs, ensuring timely and precise billing.
• Perform reconciliations and margin analysis to assess financial performance.
• Develop monthly billing estimates and conduct monthly WIP (Work in Progress) reviews.
• Assist with quarterly forecasting to support financial planning and projections.
• Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and internal financial controls.
• Utilize SAP software for financial reporting, forecasting, and data analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.
• 3+ years of cost analysis or financial analysis experience.
• Prior experience in the construction industry is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in SAP software and financial reporting tools.
• Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and internal audit procedures.
• Ability to conduct margin analysis, forecasting, and WIP reviews.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
