LHH is seeking a Corporate Paralegal with commercial transaction experience in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized multi-tasker with excellent written and verbal communication skills. This is a high volume desk in a relaxed atmosphere. If you are a skilled and efficient insurance defense/medical malpractice paralegal who exhibits high attention to detail and who remains calm under pressure, this is the role for you!

Job Duties:

  • Drafting, formatting, and proofreading correspondence and legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, discovery requests, etc.

  • maintaining department records, both physically and electronically

  • Calendaring, coordinating court dates and appearances

  • scheduling meetings with witnesses and other involved parties

  • legal research and other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of corporate or in-house paralegal experience

  • Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail

  • Great communication and interpersonal skills with a helpful, no-job-too-small mindset

Compensation:

Salary: $80,000/yr.-$85,000/yr.
