LHH is collaborating with a prestigious law firm located in the Miami area to find their next Legal Assistant. This position offers candidates the unique opportunity to join a top-tier law firm and work closely with top attorneys on a variety of legal matters. The role is designed to provide comprehensive support to the legal team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the firm. After a 60 day period, the role will transition to a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities:
Maintain archive on File site (including docket, correspondence, and subfolders for pleadings and discovery)
Arrange meetings, conferences and depositions including setup: (coffee, breakfast, lunch etc.)
Arrange transport of exhibits and other materials for hearings and trial per the request of the attorney or paralegal
Process Invoices, check requests, and other attorney requests for reimbursement
Travel support and other logistical arrangements for attorneys
Assist attorneys with administrative tasks such as travel time entry, billing requests, proofread, sort and provide mails to attorneys
Contact and schedule court reporters and videographers
Maintain archive on File site (including docket, correspondence, and subfolders for pleadings and discovery)
File, organize, scan, copy and fax legal documents in a timely manner
Assist with printing requests
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience as a paralegal or legal secretary
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
Able to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines
Able to work as a team with attorneys and other colleagues
Demonstrate a courteous and professional demeanor
Superior written and oral communication skills
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
