We are hiring for a Grant Accountant in Milwaukee, WI. This addition will play a vital role for a larger nonprofit organization. You will report to the Director of Finance and work collaboratively within a small team of five. If you have at least three years of experience in nonprofit accounting, this could be a good fit for you.

Grant Accountant Responsibilities:

• Perform and review financial transactions

• Participate in budgeting

• Ensure compliance of program financial policies and procedures

• Account reconciliations and month end close

• Provide back up to transactional accounting including AR/AP

Requirements:

• Three or more years of nonprofit accounting experience

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

• Ability to work in a higher volume setting and manage your workday

• Team player willing to assist others
