We are hiring for a Grant Accountant in Milwaukee, WI. This role is open due to a future retirement and you will report directly to the Controller. You will coordinate all financial and reporting requirements for a large fund. If you have at least five years of experience, this could be a good fit for you.
Grant Accountant Responsibilities:
Compile and maintain budget reports, records and databases for internal and external reporting
Receive and track project reimbursements
Act as primary contact for audit
Provide financial analysis and spending projections
Create journal entries and provide monthly and annual reporting
Requirements:
Five or more years of grant accounting experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
Professional communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to meet deadlines and work across multiple departments
