IP Litigation Paralegal – Milwaukee, WI
Billable Hour Requirement: 1,500 hours/year
Practice Area: Intellectual Property Litigation
Location: Onsite in Milwaukee (Hybrid flexibility may be discussed)
LHH is partnering with a leading law firm to identify a skilled IP Litigation Paralegal for its growing Intellectual Property group in Milwaukee. This role supports high-profile litigation matters involving complex technologies across multiple clients. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting attorneys through all stages of litigation—from discovery through trial.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and edit legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, correspondence, proposed orders, and post-trial bills of cost
Prepare, electronically file, and serve motions, briefs, affidavits, exhibits, appendices, and related materials in U.S. District Courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit
Conduct cite-checking and key-citing of pleadings and legal documents
Review documents for production and privilege; prepare and maintain privilege logs
Assist attorneys with deposition preparation
Support trial logistics, including managing materials for out-of-state trials, preparing trial and jury notebooks, and organizing exhibits
Maintain thorough and organized litigation files
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal (IP litigation strongly preferred)
Prior experience working in a law firm setting
Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certification preferred
Familiarity with federal court filing procedures and court rules
Excellent organizational, communication, and client service skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to high-quality work
