LHH is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Litigation Paralegal to join our reputable client's team. This position will play a vital role in supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation including pre-trial preparation, trial proceedings, and post-trial activities. The ideal candidate will have five years of experience in complex business litigation, as well as strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a desire to grow in their career.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with attorneys throughout the entire litigation process, from start to finish.
- Dive deep into legal research, analyzing case law, statutes, and other legal materials.
- Efficiently prepare, organize, and manage case files, pleadings, and discovery documents.
- Craft and refine legal documents, including motions, briefs, and summaries.
- Oversee all aspects of trial preparation, such as conducting witness interviews, preparing exhibits, and assembling trial binders.
- Serve as the go-to person during trials, handling exhibits, technology, and logistics.
- Provide on-site support to attorneys during trials and hearings.
- Contribute to post-trial activities by drafting settlement agreements and organizing final case files.
- Facilitate communication and coordination with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel.
- Uphold strict confidentiality and ensure adherence to legal procedures and court rules.
Who You Are:
- Paralegal with five years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate
- Highly organized and attentive to detail
- Energetic and motivated to learn.
- Able to commit to travel and extended hours during trial periods.
- Proficient in legal software and e-discovery tools.
Pay Details: $80,000-$100,000
