Maintenance Technician II

Lee Hecht Harrison Recruitment Solutions (LHH) is partnering with a leading building services company to fill their open Maintenance Technician II job in Milwaukee, WI. To qualify, you must have at least 5 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar maintenance role. This is a DIRECT HIRE job opportunity where you will earn between $29.00 and $35.00 per hour, depending on your level of previous experience. You will also be eligible for this company’s benefits package (details below).

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a safe work environment and following all safety policies and procedures


• Conducting shift rounds and regularly checking the status of systems and equipment, identifying issues


• Maintaining, troubleshooting, and performing equipment repairs in electrical systems, plumbing, operating equipment, mechanical, carpentry, etc.


• Documenting work and results in the database


• Providing excellent customer service and giving customers status updates and estimated times of completion


• Managing maintenance projects


• All other related tasks as required

  Qualifications:



• At least 5 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role


• Excellent attention to detail


• The ability to complete tasks in a timely manner


• Valid state driver’s license, Fork Truck operator’s license, JLH Operator’s license, Universal CFC certification required


• Knowledge of and compliance with OSHA standards and Company safety policies


• The ability to read blue prints and technical schematics as well as specification manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals; diagrams, drawings, and manuals of craft trades


• The ability to operate a forklift, scissor lift, and aerial lift

  Schedule:



• Monday - Friday


• 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM


• Must be available to work on weekends, overtime, etc. as needed for emergencies and special projects

  Compensation:



• Hourly rate between $29.00 and $35.00
