LHH is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal for a company in Milwaukee, WI, to join its growing Legal Department. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with executive leadership, in-house counsel, and external attorneys on a broad range of high-level commercial real estate, corporate governance, and vendor contract matters.
You’ll be joining a lean but high-functioning legal team — three attorneys and one current paralegal (with another attorney on the way) — where your contributions will be felt immediately.
This is not your average real estate paralegal role — we're looking for someone who brings strong transactional instincts and deep Title & Survey experience.
What You’ll Do
Title & Survey (Core Function):
Review and analyze title commitments, ALTA/NSPS surveys, easements, and legal descriptions
Identify and communicate risks; draft objection letters; coordinate with surveyors and title companies
Conduct deed comparisons and zoning research
Transactional Support:
Coordinate due diligence and closing processes for real estate acquisitions
Draft and track estoppel certificates and SNDAs
Abstract commercial leases and amendments
Draft default letters to tenants
Corporate Governance & Records:
Maintain entity records and databases for owned and leased properties
Assist with entity formation, filings, and compliance tracking
Construction & Vendor Contracts:
Draft and manage construction contracts and vendor agreements
Work with legal and construction teams using AIA forms and templates
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree + Paralegal certificate
3–5 years of experience in commercial real estate legal support (administration of owned/leased properties)
Hands-on experience with title and survey review is essential
Familiarity with SNDA, estoppel certificates, lease abstracting, and entity management
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel; YARDI experience a plus
Work Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm (Fully On-Site)
Flexibility available for school drop-offs/pick-ups (±30 minutes)
Remote work permitted up to 4 days per month, no more than 2 per week

Base Salary: $70,000–$85,000, commensurate with experience
Annual discretionary bonus: up to 10% of base salary
Paid parking
Free daily breakfast & lunch from on-site chefs
Access to on-site gym, yoga studio, massage therapy, and personal trainers
Interview Process
Step 1: Virtual interview with Executive VP & Team
Step 2: Virtual interview with Legal Department
Background check required prior to employment
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
