LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis. The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial transactions and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Responsibilities:
Enter invoices into QuickBooks, ensuring proper coding by category and office location.
Process payments for invoices using QuickBooks.
Record company credit card transactions in QuickBooks and manage payment of credit card bills.
Code bank transactions in QuickBooks, averaging between 25 to 100 transactions per day.
Post accounts receivable specific to various sources such as Workers Comp, Self-Pay, VA Payments, Nebraska Athletics, Nebraska Spine, and Mayo Clinic.
Reconcile credit card transactions from Waystar (Healthcare Revenue Management System), ensuring accurate posting in OPIE (medical billing software), and coding in QuickBooks.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role preferred.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Familiarity with medical billing software is a plus.
Schedule: Part-time, 15-25 hours per week (flexible schedule available).
