- Enter and update data into computer systems and databases with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Verify and validate data to ensure completeness and correctness, addressing any discrepancies or errors promptly.
- Organize and maintain electronic and paper records to facilitate efficient data retrieval and support administrative functions.
- Generate and produce reports from data sets as needed, providing summaries and detailed information to support decision-making processes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of data entry procedures and protocols to improve efficiency and data management practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather and confirm data requirements, ensuring accurate and timely information exchange.
- Perform routine data backups and maintenance tasks to safeguard data and ensure system reliability.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and in accordance with organizational policies and regulations.
- Address and resolve data-related issues and discrepancies, working to maintain high standards of data quality and integrity.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in data management or administration is a plus.
- Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of data entry and data management practices.
- Proficiency in data entry software and tools, such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and database management systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to handle large volumes of data efficiently.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
