LHH is seeking a Paralegal to join their national client's dynamic legal team in Minneapolis, specializing in defense: product liability, mass torts, and class action litigation. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on complex cases in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review
- Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, and responses
- Manage court filings and ensure compliance with procedural requirements and deadlines
- Organize and maintain case files, including electronic document management
- Assist in trial preparation, including compiling exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders
- Coordinate with clients, experts, and witnesses for case development
- Support attorneys with deposition and hearing preparation
- Review and analyze medical records and other case-related documents
Who You Are:
- 3-6 years of experience as a paralegal in litigation, preferably with exposure to product liability, mass torts, or class action cases
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and document management systems (iManage a plus)
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Professional, discreet, and committed to delivering excellent client service
