Title: Litigation Paralegal
Type: Full-Time; Permanent

Location: Minneapolis, MN
Schedule: Hybrid; Monday - Friday; Standard hours of operation

Compensation will vary upon experience:
  • 2-5 year's experience: $50,000 - $55,000 annual
  • 5-10 year's experience: $60,000 - $70,000 annual
  • 10-20 year's experience: $80,000 - $90,000 annual
  • 20+ year's experience: $90,000 - $95,000 annual

Job Description:
  • Oversee the management of documents through litigation support departments and handle requests from outside counsel and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct legal research to find relevant information such as cases, depositions, opinions, and reports; reach out to and interview witnesses.
  • Draft initial versions of pleadings, disclosures, written discovery, and pretrial documents; respond to written discovery proactively.
  • Organize and prepare materials for depositions, including witness information and case details, and create interview memos and digests for attorney review.
  • Maintain a deposition database by collecting and organizing documents related to deponents, including exhibits and summaries of transcripts.
  • Coordinate the preparation and service of subpoenas, as well as responses to them.
  • Create and manage internal databases for cases, performing searches on both internal and external document systems.
  • Track key facts, important documents, and significant individuals by preparing various chronologies and production charts.
  • Organize declarations and exhibits for responses to motions and discrimination charges.
  • Prepare for trials by organizing exhibits, files, and all supporting documents; assist attorneys in the courtroom by taking notes, managing exhibits, and marking documents referenced by counsel.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years litigation paralegal experience preferred
  • Holds a certificate from an ABA-accredited paralegal program and/or a bachelor’s degree
  • Strong technical skills with extensive experience in legal software systems
  • Proven ability to handle all elements of complex e-discovery processes from collection through to production.
  • Experience in preparing for trials, presenting at trials, and attending trial proceedings.
  • Capable of managing several projects at once while effectively prioritizing tasks under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in taking direction from multiple sources, being proactive, and driving cases forward.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
  • Demonstrated history of providing exceptional client service.



Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
