LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Products Liability/Mass Torts Litigation Paralegal for a confidential client. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to join a dynamic legal team and contribute to high-stakes litigation cases.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in all phases of products liability and mass torts litigation, from inception through trial and appeal.

  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law, statutes, and regulations.

  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.

  • Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.

  • Coordinate and manage document production, including e-discovery, and review documents for relevance and privilege.

  • Assist in the preparation of depositions, including summarizing deposition transcripts and organizing exhibits.

  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and coordinate case activities.

  • Prepare trial materials, including exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.

  • Support attorneys during trial, including managing exhibits and providing real-time assistance as needed.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products liability and mass torts litigation trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal in products liability and mass torts litigation.

  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, principles, and procedures related to products liability and mass torts.

  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software, such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, and e-discovery platforms.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal case management software.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
