Job Opportunity: Distribution - Customer Fulfillment Representative

Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay Range: $18-20/hr depending on experience
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Position Summary:
The Customer Fulfillment Representative plays a vital role in supporting the branch sales team by providing comprehensive customer support, including managing quotes, processing orders, and expediting. This position also involves assisting with front desk duties, such as phone coverage and visitor assistance. The role has a mix of drilling and industrial clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage procurement requests and generate purchase orders for vendors.
Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to manage orders and ensure satisfaction.
Enhance customer service levels to exceed expectations.
Support key program initiatives and ensure customer satisfaction standards are met.
Proactively manage and track customer orders to optimize fill rates and satisfaction.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required.
Customer-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (intermediate to advanced skills required).
Experience with automated order entry systems and internet-based tools.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in Customer Service, Sales, Purchase Order Fulfillment or a related field.
Experience working with vendors.
Distribution experience is preferred
Experience fast-paced industries and have the ability to handle demanding customers and sales reps, understanding that this is part of the industry.
Willingness to stay in the role for at least 1-2 years before exploring other opportunities within company
Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
