LHH partnered with a local company to recruit for a Distribution Operations Supervisor

Distribution Operations Supervisor – Modesto, CA
Compensation: $65k to $80k + eligible for yearly bonus
Schedule: Mid-shift (2 PM – 12 AM, October – June); extended hours and weekends required during peak season (July – September)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage warehouse staff including forklift operators, truck teams, and receiving clerks.

• Supervise labeling operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

• Enforce safety protocols and conduct incident investigations to promote a safe work environment.

• Communicate effectively with cross-functional supervisors and managers to align operational activities.

• Monitor productivity and quality standards, ensuring consistent performance.

• Foster positive employee relations and contribute to a dynamic workplace culture.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of supervisory experience with proven leadership skills.

• 2+ years of experience in a logistics or warehouse setting.

• Strong communication, analytical, and time management skills.

• Willingness to work mid-shift hours and extended hours during peak season.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
