Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist


Location: Mt Laurel, NJ


Compensation: $20 per hour


Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days from home


Responsibilities:



  • Generate and send out invoices to customers accurately and in a timely manner.


  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue payments.


  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, and mail to resolve outstanding issues and facilitate payment processing.


  • Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and resolve discrepancies as needed.


  • Process credit card payments and refunds in accordance with company policies.


  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payment processing.


  • Assist with month-end closing activities and provide support for audits as required.


  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the accounting system.


  • Prepare and distribute regular reports on accounts receivable status and performance metrics.


  • Adhere to established accounting principles and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.


Requirements:



  • Proven experience in accounts receivable or related accounting roles.


  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.


  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.


  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.


  • Prior experience with hybrid work arrangements is a plus.
