Our client is seeking a qualified individual for an Accounting Manager position in Munster, IN. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of accounting experience and at least two years in a management role. Location: Munster, IN


Position Type: Direct Hire


Schedule: Four days onsite after the training period


Salary: $100k-$110k


Target Start Date: Immediately



Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee general accounting, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR) functions.
  • Develop and maintain financial reporting packages for internal use, executive management, and field organizations.
  • Manage the month-end closing process, including sub-ledger maintenance and reconciliation.
  • Analyze complex financial information and general ledger account activity.
  • Recommend and ensure the recording of correcting entries to reflect accurate financial results.
  • Prepare year-end adjusted financial statements for tax purposes.
  • Provide executive management with timely and accurate financial information to support decision-making.
  • Ensure all revenues, expenses, liabilities, and assets are properly recorded.
  • Assist with the external audit process.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
  • Minimum of five years of accounting experience.
  • At least two years of management-level accounting experience.
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Excellent leadership abilities.
  • Ability to independently prioritize workload and multitask in a high-stress environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
