Job Posting: Accounts Receivable Specialist (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Nashville, TN Salary: $20-$23 per hour Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Work Schedule: In Office
Position Overview: As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing our accounts receivable process. Your expertise will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our invoicing and collections, contributing to the overall financial health of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accounts receivable records and transactions.
- Generate and send invoices to clients and customers.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts and overdue invoices.
- Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Process incoming payments and apply them to appropriate accounts.
- Prepare and review financial reports related to accounts receivable.
- Communicate with clients and internal departments regarding billing issues and payment status.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
