LHH is seeking a Civil Engineer with an extensive background in stormwater/site development plus project management experience for a full-time position in Nashville, TN.
The ideal candidate will have prior involvement with site analysis in the Nashville/Middle Tennessee area along with preliminary studies, design calculations and reports, development of construction plans and specifications, cost estimates and permit applications. We are looking for a driven individual who will work collectively with the Design team and has leadership capabilities.
Civil EngineerResponsibilities and Duties:
Due diligence and site analysis
Prepare engineering or technical computations and preparing design solutions.
Preparation of construction documents including demolition plans, layout plans, erosion control plans, grading and drainage plans, stormwater management, utilities, site details, transportation improvements, and project cost estimates/analysis, etc.
Required Experience:
B. S. in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineering License in TN
5-10 years experience
Working knowledge of principles and practices
Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation software packages
Capable of using Microsoft Office suite with excellent communication skills.
Team-oriented; excellent communication skills to work with team
Valid Driver’s License. Must qualify under company auto insurance program.
Ability to pass a drug test
