$75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per Year
LHH is seeking a Landscape Architect in Training candidate to support our Landscape Architect by providing site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic and technical production. This is a full-time position in Nashville, TN.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Work on projects which will include land planning, urban design and redevelopment, mixed-use development, all types of residential development, streetscapes, design guidelines, public infrastructure design, parks and other community facility design in both the public and private sectors.
Works on the technical aspects of multiple projects with the ability to coordinate those projects concurrently.
Perform work on all phases of projects requiring landscape architectural services including design development, preparation of presentation graphics, construction documents, and design review and coordination.
Assist with the preparation of planning reports, presentations, and studies for major and minor projects.
Review materials, standards, and project requirements to determine proper basis of design.
Develop, review, and modify production drawings.
Assist with projects during construction administration.
Minimum Qualifications:
BLA in landscape architecture or related work experience.
Minimum of 2 years of related design experience.
Proficient in design software including AutoCAD, Sketchup, Land F/X, 3D Modeling programs (Lumion, Enscape, etc.), Adobe Creative Suites (Particularly Photoshop), and MS office.
Strong problem solving, creative skills, and communication skills.
Knowledge of TN plant materials along with TN Standards.
Valid Driver’s License.
Ability to pass a drug test.
Additional/Bonus Qualifications:
Familiarity with GIS.
General understanding of Irrigation Design.
Familiarity with Civil 3D and Revit.
