LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our client in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will have over 5+ years of experience in overseeing property maintenance, HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and safety.

  • Location: Nashville, TN

  • Position: Building Maintenance Technician

  • Type: Direct Hire

  • Compensation: $62,000-$65,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working knowledge of DDC devices, A/C circuits, HVAC, pneumatic systems, resetting breakers, lighting, and plumbing found in a commercial office building.

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems, HVAC units, plumbing, and other building systems.

  • Diagnose and repair minor issues in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Coordinate with external contractors for more extensive repairs when necessary.

  • Rebuild and repair flush valves and faucets.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs.

  • Test & make minor adjustments to chemical treatment levels in the water system.

  • Replace belts, motors, bearings, actuators, and values.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in the building maintenance industry and/or a certified and credited trade school degree in HVAC, electronic, or other industry-related trade required.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and general building maintenance.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
