Maintenance Technician
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Maintenance Technician in the Nashville area. This person will be responsible for working within a team to complete maintenance for commercial property.
Responsibilities:
Be responsible for the overall maintenance of the building, utility systems, and building equipment.
Perform routine building inspections according to company policy
Install and repair new and existing plumbing fixtures, drain lines, and accessories
Perform preventive maintenance, installation, and repair of water pipes, controls, and associated equipment
Perform minor repair of heating, ventilation, and air condition equipment, including some filter changing
Assist the HVAC technician with any building-related mechanical or maintenance issues when required
Assist contractors with life safety alarm systems and water-based or dry fire protection systems shutdowns and testing.
Install and repair ceiling tiles, wall coverings, vinyl tile, carpet, cove base, window blinds, signage, etc.
Be responsible for accurate and timely record-keeping and reporting.
Assist in snow and ice removal using hand tools, ice melt, and sand.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of education from one of the following:
State, county or local governmental agency
EPA Certification
3 or more years of general industrial or commercial maintenance experience
Documented training/certification/license in one or more of the following fields:
Plumbing
Mechanical
Roofing
Details: M-F, 8-5pm; Pay: $23-$25hr. Our program provides employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria
