Job Title: Payroll Specialist

Location: Nashville, TN (downtown-parking is paid for/provided)

Job Type: Full-time, M- F (40 hrs/week)

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our client's team within their corporate headquarters in metro Nashville (hybrid schedule). This position ensures the company's accurate and timely payroll processing on a weekly basis for multi locations throughout the US.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal regulations- Workday platform
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information, salary changes, and deductions.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management.
  • Handle payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
  • Assist with year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation and distribution.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role - 2 years minimum experience.
  • Solid knowledge of payroll processes, laws, and regulations- multi state
  • Proficiency in payroll software (ADP, Workday, Lawson, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel specifically).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $31.00 per hour
