What is the opportunity?

As a Payroll Tax Analyst, you would be responsible for the timely, accurate, and compliant processing and set up of payroll tax in the US region.



Here is a snapshot of the responsibilities:
  • Review tax filings and payments made by third party provider (ADP Smart Compliance) and ensure they are timely and accurate

  • Manage Tax Rates/Tax Code set up within third party provider software- Assist third party with taxing agencies notices/inquires

  • Coordinate with third party provider for Wage Attachments/Tax Filing and Reporting.

  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and W-2 tax reconciliations

  • Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with federal and state laws

  • Maintain SUI rate updates within payroll system

  • Work with third party on registration applications for State and Local Income Tax and/or Unemployment Tax IDs

  • Maintain and resolve Support Cases related to all tax issues/questions

  • Respond to employee inquiries and internal/external audit queries timely and professionally

  • Maintain accurate payroll/tax records

  • Partner with accounting team to support all assigned payroll general ledger accounts (i.e., Cash accounts, Tax Liability, Benefits Liability, etc.) and resolve any discrepancies

  • Provide analysis and reporting


What we need from you!
  • Proficiency in payroll software (any large platform) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Solid understanding of payroll tax laws, set up

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong communication skills.


Location: Nashville, TN

Location Type: REMOTE / HYBRID / or ONSITE depending on location- MUST be in CST time zone


Travel Expectations: 4x month to Nashville office



Hourly Pay Rate: $45-50/hr DOE




Pay Details: $45.00 to $50.00 per hour
