Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 + Bonus

Position Overview:

As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities and supplier relationships to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services required for aerospace production. You will play a critical role in maintaining the supply chain and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Management:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to secure materials and services.

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.

  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules.

• Supplier Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.

  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or cost.

  • Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Cost Control:

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-reduction initiatives.

  • Analyze market trends and develop strategies to mitigate cost increases.

  • Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable conditions.

• Inventory Management:

  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock levels to support production needs.

  • Coordinate with production and logistics teams to manage inventory flow.

  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize excess and obsolete stock.

• Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.

  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and supplier agreements.

  • Prepare reports and analyses for management review.

Qualifications:

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in procurement within the aerospace industry.

  • Proven track record of managing supplier relationships and procurement activities.

• Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

• Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
