LHH is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Legal Assistant for a law firm in New Orleans to support two of our attorneys, ideally with experience supporting partners. This is an excellent opportunity to join a firm with a great work environment and a strong commitment to employee satisfaction.

  • Salary: $60k - $65k, depending on experience, plus benefits

  • Work Schedule: One day a week from home and every other Friday is a half day.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to two attorneys.

  • Manage case files, coordinate schedules, and handle correspondence.

  • Prepare and format legal documents, pleadings, and reports.

  • Assist in the preparation for trials, hearings, and depositions.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel, and other parties involved in the cases.

  • Maintain confidentiality and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Qualifications:


  • Experience in insurance defense is preferred.

  • Proven ability to support partners in a legal setting.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.




Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
