Administrative Specialist

Our client, a Financial Investment firm has an Administrative Specialist need in both their New York City and Stamford, CT offices.

This role will provide opportunity for leadership mentoring at all levels, great collaboration, and a work/life balance.

Responsibilities:

  • Resolving day-to-day administrative and operational complications
  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings
  • Managing front desk, acting as Receptionist and first point of contact for the organization
  • Coordinating between departments
  • Assisting with events
  • Providing back-up administrative support to senior executives when needed
  • Preparing business correspondence, agendas, and presentations, and other ad hoc projects

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of previous experience supporting a team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word; Intermediate Excel (vlookup; pivot tables) and PowerPoint skills
  • Demonstrated interest in the finance industry with a desire to learn more

Qualifications:

  • Been recognized for taking initiative
  • The ability to work well under pressure
  • Previous experience working with a CRM
  • A bachelors degree
