Benefits Analyst
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Benefits Analyst to join our client's team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits administration, with the ability to manage and support all aspects of benefits programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Benefits Administration:
Manage and administer employee benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans.
Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, including ERISA, COBRA, and HIPAA.
Assist in the enrollment process for new hires and during open enrollment periods.
Process benefit claims and coordinate with insurance providers.
Handle benefit inquiries and resolve issues for employees.
Data Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee benefits in the HRIS system.
Prepare reports on benefits utilization, costs, and trends.
Analyze benefits data to provide insights and recommendations for program improvements.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure all benefits documentation, including summary plan descriptions and other legal documents, is accurate and up to date.
Monitor changes in benefits regulations and ensure company policies remain compliant.
Assist with audits of benefit programs and processes.
Communication and Support:
Provide excellent customer service to employees regarding their benefits.
Communicate benefit plan options and changes to employees in a clear and effective manner.
Work closely with HR, Payroll, and Finance teams to ensure seamless benefits operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in benefits administration or a similar role.
Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing employee benefits.
Experience with HRIS systems and benefits software.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Compensation: $30-40/hour
