LHH is working w/ a client based in Manhattan that is looking to hire a PowerBI Reporting Developer to join our team for a 6+ Month project (very strong possibility of extension). The role will require 3 days onsite at their Manhattan HQ.
Our client is seeking a skilled Microsoft Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team and help us transform data into actionable intelligence.
Job Summary: As a Microsoft Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Power BI, Databricks and dbt. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and deliver high-quality dashboards and reports that drive data-driven decision-making. Technical Skill Requirements: Experience Required: o Design and develop business intelligence dashboards, analytical reports and data visualizations using PowerBI and providing access to different user groups o Expert knowledge of architecting and developing PowerBI solutions by configuring the data security and assigning the licenses and sharing the reports and dashboards to the different user groups in the organization. o Expert in writing parameterized queries for generating tabular reports, sub reports using global variables, expressions and functions, sorting of data, dashboards, scorecards, drill-down and drill-through reports, defining data sources and subtotals for the reports using paginated reports. o Design and develop business intelligence dashboards, analytical reports and data visualizations using PowerBI by creating multiple measures using DAX expressions for user groups o Use of PowerBI Power Pivot to develop data analysis prototype, use Power View. o Develop interactive reports and dashboards in PowerBI to provide actionable insights and facilitate informed decision-making. o Experience in implementing Microsoft BI/Azure BI solutions like Power BI, Azure Databricks, Azure Analysis Services and SQL Server Reporting Services. o Good Understanding of Azure Big data technologies like Azure Data Lake Analytics and Azure Data Lake Store. o Involved in creating notebooks for moving data through the medallion architecture from raw to stage and then to curated zones using Databricks. o Expert in data warehouse development starting from inception to implementation and ongoing support, strong understanding of BI application design and development principles using normalization and de-normalization techniques o Involved in developing complex Azure Analysis Services tabular databases and deploying the same in Microsoft azure and scheduling the cube through Azure Automation Runbook. o Extensive experience in developing tabular models, Aggregation, KPIs, Measures.. Pay Details: $65.00 to $85.00 per hour
