LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced and strategic Contract Consulting General Counsel for a confidential client in the services industry. This role is fully remote, with occasional travel, and focuses on providing expert advice to the current General Counsel. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) and a strong background in corporate law.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance to the current General Counsel on a wide range of corporate matters.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of IPOs, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and agreements.
  • Oversee and manage legal aspects of the client's business operations, including risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks.
  • Collaborate with senior management and other stakeholders to develop and implement legal strategies that align with the client's business objectives.
  • Represent the client in legal proceedings, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
  • Manage relationships with external legal counsel and other legal service providers.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on legal matters and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the state bar.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on IPOs and corporate governance.
  • Proven experience in managing complex legal matters and providing strategic legal advice to senior management.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.


Pay Details: $100.00 to $145.00 per hour
