Data, Privacy, and Cybersecurity Attorney
LHH is partnering with a leading Venture Capital law firm in a search for a Data, Privacy, and Cybersecurity Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join the New York City Office. Candidates with more junior or senior experience will also be considered.
Compensation:
$165,000 - $250,000, depending on experience with a guaranteed bonus at 1,600 billable hours. Additional discretionary bonus for hours above 1,600.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice and support on data privacy and cybersecurity matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate technology and software licensing agreements.
Advise clients on compliance with data protection laws and regulations.
Represent clients in data breach response and litigation.
Collaborate with various departments within the firm to provide comprehensive legal solutions.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in data privacy and cybersecurity law (more junior or senior candidates will also be considered).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will have additional exposure to technology and software licensing, as well as specific software fields such as fintech and healthtech.
Work Environment:
Hybrid work model with 3 days in the office per week.
