LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a prominent nonprofit organization based in New York City to fill the position of Development Coordinator. Our client is dedicated to their mission/cause, and they are seeking a skilled professional to join their dynamic team.
Position Overview:
As a Development Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing donor relations and gift entry in a high-volume environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in donor database management, with proficiency in Raiser's Edge software. This is a contract position with the potential for permanent placement, offering a hybrid work schedule for added flexibility.
Responsibilities:
- Donor Management: Efficiently handle donor relations, ensuring positive interactions and maintaining strong relationships with supporters.
- Gift Entry: Accurately enter and process donations in a timely manner, managing a high volume of transactions.
- Raiser's Edge Experience: Utilize Raiser's Edge software for donor database management, contributing to the maintenance and improvement of the system.
- Data Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of donor information by conducting regular audits and addressing discrepancies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to support fundraising initiatives and campaigns.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze reports related to donor activity, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in a development coordination role, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
- Proficiency in Raiser's Edge software is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to thrive in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in donor and gift entry.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Understanding of nonprofit fundraising practices is a plus.
Job Type: Contract (with potential for permanent placement)
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (Hybrid Schedule)
Hybrid Schedule: Embrace a hybrid work schedule, combining in-office and remote work as needed.
Compensation: $25/hour
