LHH is proud to represent a confidential client in their search for a dynamic and experienced Director of Payroll, Benefits & HRIS. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a strategic leader who can oversee and optimize the organization’s payroll, benefits, and HRIS functions.

About the Role:

The Director of Payroll, Benefits & HRIS will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and compliant administration of payroll and benefits programs while also managing and enhancing the organization’s HRIS infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in ADP systems, including configuration, reporting, and integration with other HR and finance platforms.

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of operational excellence, compliance knowledge, and a passion for improving employee experience through streamlined systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of payroll processing for a multi-state and union workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and other offerings.

  • Serve as the primary administrator for the HRIS platform (ADP), ensuring data integrity, system optimization, and effective reporting.

  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to align systems and processes with organizational goals.

  • Manage audits, reconciliations, and year-end reporting (W-2s, ACA, etc.).

  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding payroll and benefits inquiries.

  • Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in payroll and benefits administration, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Experience processing payroll in a unionized environment is required

  • Strong hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar ADP platforms.

  • Proven track record of managing HRIS systems and driving process improvements.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Experience in the real estate industry is a plus, but not required.

Compensation:

Up to $130,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.



Pay Details: $110,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
