Job Title: Document Review Attorney


Location: 100% Onsite - New York, NY 10019 Pay Rate: $35.00 per hour Duration: 1-year contract (Expected to last through the full term)


LHH is seeking skilled document review attorney's to join our client's project, located onsite at our client's Manhattan office. This role is crucial in supporting various aspects of the engagement, including document review, legal analysis, and workflow administration. The position requires a strong legal background, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist in assembling, analyzing, and documenting facts related to engagement matters.


  • Support the execution of engagement workflows and administrative tasks.


  • Handle imaging, media processing, document tracking, and chain of custody requirements.


  • Provide support for engagement software access and troubleshoot issues as they arise.


  • Prepare reports based on the analysis of business issues and relevant facts.


  • Participate in the review of contracts and other legal documents in accordance with the guidelines provided by the company and its client.


  • Conduct document review requiring legal expertise, including relevancy assessments, issue coding, privilege, and redaction review.


  • Assist in performing quality control activities related to document review.


Qualifications:



  • Juris Doctor degree and admission to the bar in at least one jurisdiction.


  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of engagement management and clients.


  • Ability to balance multiple projects and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.


  • Professional demeanor and experience working in a team-oriented setting.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.


  • Knowledge of litigation management software such as Concordance, Introspect, Relativity, and familiarity with cloud-based solutions.


  • Flexibility with travel requirements.


  • Foreign language skills are a plus


Interview Process: Given the high-touch nature of this project, candidates will be interviewed either via video Zoom or onsite at the client's office in Jersey City, NJ.
