Position Type: Full-time
Salary: $100,000–$160,000, commensurate with experience
Schedule: Fully onsite for the first 90 days; one remote day per week after 90 days

Our client, a respected mid-sized law firm, is seeking an experienced Estates and Trusts Paralegal to join their New York office. This individual will support attorneys in all aspects of estate and trust administration, tax filings, and client communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage estate and trust administration, including court filings and asset retitling

  • Draft legal documents such as POAs, healthcare proxies, and basic estate planning forms

  • Coordinate with financial institutions and tax professionals

  • Communicate with executors, trustees, and beneficiaries

  • Track and meet billable hour goals (1200 annually)

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of estates and trusts experience in a law firm or corporate legal department

  • Strong knowledge of NY estate law (NJ a plus)

  • Experience with estate tax filings and advanced directives

  • Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certification preferred

  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage client relationships



Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $160,000.00 per year
