Finance Supervisor - Non-Profit
LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a global non-profit organization to fill a temp-to-hire Finance Supervisor position. We are in search of someone who has experience managing city, state, and federal grants. This role will begin on a temporary basis, but the organization is searching for that true temp-to-perm hire.
Responsibilities:
Preparing assigned program budgets, forecasting and monitoring expense analysis, allocations, and preparing variance analysis
Oversight of all spending under assigned portfolio of programs; Approving/denying purchases and doing any budget modifications as needed
Regularly reviewing grant contracts to ensue proper compliance
Oversight and assistance through grant billing process to ensure timely reimbursements
Tracking program expenses to ensure compliance, prevent overspending, and meet the organization’s financial goals
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required
Minimum of three years working within the not for profit sector
Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role
Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, v lookups.
Hands on experience working with federal, state and local funding
Schedule:
3 days in office, 2 days remote
9 - 5 PM, 35 hour work week with occasional overtime
