Fundraising Operations Associate Temp

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid or Onsite)

About the Role:

LHH is seeking a Fundraising Operations Associate Temp to support the fundraising procedures of a globally recognized nonprofit organization. This role offers hands-on experience in Salesforce, project coordination, and administrative support within a mission-driven environment.

As part of the External Relations team, you’ll assist in a critical system implementation project that directly supports donor engagement and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with gift processing and data entry in Salesforce

  • Perform data hygiene tasks, such as merging duplicates and approving edits

  • Ensure accurate and timely updates to donor and fundraising records

  • Schedule meetings and coordinate communications among team members and external vendors

  • Track project progress using Basecamp and escalate tasks as needed

  • Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders and the Salesforce implementation partner

  • Maintain and update fundraising Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • Document meeting notes and follow up on assigned action items

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce preferred

  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and external partners

  • High emotional intelligence and discretion when handling sensitive data

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
