Title: Fiscal Grant Analyst
Division: Finance Department
Reports to: Controller

Purpose:

The Fiscal Grant Analyst (GA) will manage the fiscal components of all grants, including billing and tracking. This role involves general administrative duties, vendor/contract management, and acting as a liaison with other departments and participating grantees. Additionally, the GA will support the accounting department as needed.

Minimum Education Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited college or university.

Experience Requirements:

· At least three years of experience in non-profit administration.

· Experience in program budgeting and fiscal management.

· Strong organizational communication skills, with the ability to work efficiently with mid-level staff on the fiscal components of their grants and contracts.

· Familiarity with Salesforce, DocuSign, and collaborative technology tools.

· Proven track record of effective collaboration within a direct service organization with a complex array of programs and funding sources.

· Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize and communicate key objectives and tactics necessary to achieve organizational goals.

· Commitment to quality and data-driven reporting.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong public speaking abilities.

· Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, flexible, and innovative approach to grants management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Define and manage systems for communicating grant contract status, goals, and information needed to manage grant expenditures, interdependence, progress, and risk.

· Prepare and manage high-level funding budgets for State and City programs.

· Work effectively with department directors and administration to understand department/service/program needs.

· Assist departments in seeking and implementing grants.

· Handle grant billing submissions, track receipt of payments, and manage payment disbursements to participating grantees.

· Act as a liaison to participating grantees to obtain timely reporting of expenses for internal reporting and grant billing submissions.

· Ensure supporting documentation of spending from grantees aligns with approved budgets.

· Review the general ledger to ensure accuracy of expenses to the respective grants and departments.

· Monitor compliance with grant stipulations and program progress through on-site evaluations and reviews of plans and reports.

· Partner with the Controller and CFO to analyze and forecast grant spending and make recommendations.

· Maintain and organize grant and contract files.

· Ensure the quality of all grant contracts from start to finish.

· Assist in preparing regular management reports, documenting activities, expenditures, and other relevant data.

Qualifications:

· Knowledge of behavioral and physical health conditions, and pertinent mental health legislation and regulations.

· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues, members, network providers, and government agencies, in a caring and respectful manner, with consideration for cultural differences.

· Ability to work effectively in a team to accomplish tasks.

· Serve as a role model to staff and stakeholders.

· Skill in researching and preparing reports.

· Effective oral and written communication.

· Ability to prioritize and multi-task.

· College-level problem-solving ability.

· Exceptional competency in written, interpersonal, verbal, and computational skills to present and document records in accordance with project standards and organizational needs.



Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
