Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic financial leadership and direction.

  • Lead short and long-range planning and execution of growth strategy.

  • Identify trends and potential business opportunities.

  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports for all stakeholders.

  • Establish policies and accounting procedures.

  • Manage operational and treasury activities.

  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Statement of Cash Flows) in accordance with GAAP.

  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.

  • Supervise internal controls to safeguard corporate assets and fiscal integrity.

  • Review financial results, set performance targets, manage budgets, forecasts, and KPI reporting.

  • Work with senior management to provide financial guidance and direction on operations.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, reporting requirements, and tax authorities.

  • Interface with senior management and other departments to review financial performance and assist in achieving financial objectives.

  • Identify and resolve business issues with accounting and finance implications.

  • Lead the treasury function, meeting short and long-term funding needs.

  • Lead the tax function, ensuring tax filing requirements are met and minimizing tax liability.

  • Assist with special projects as assigned.

  • Provide strategic financial input and thought leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred).

  • 7-10 years of experience in finance, accounting, and treasury.

  • SaaS/Startup experience preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

  • Ability to write investor reports/updates, business correspondence, and handle investor requests for financials.

  • Ability to handle a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment.
