LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator for a great opportunity in the Midtown Manhattan area. This position will be on a contract to hire basis and will be hybrid. The Human Resources Coordinator will provide support in various functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in posting job openings on various job boards and company website.

  • Screen resumes and coordinate interviews.

  • Conduct reference checks and background verifications.

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring completion of all required documentation.

  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries.

  • Assist in resolving employee issues and concerns with professionalism and confidentiality.

  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS.

  • Prepare and process HR-related documents, such as employment contracts, termination letters, and employee status changes.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Assist in the coordination of performance review processes.

  • Maintain records of employee performance evaluations and development plans.

  • Assist in tracking and reporting on employee training and development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 1-3 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Hours:

  • 9:00am-5:00pm

  • Monday through Friday
