IP Litigation Paralegal – New York, New York LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a an Intellectual Property Litigation Paralegal to work on an hybrid schedule. The ideal Candidate will be experienced in IP litigation and primarily support trial attorneys as well as conducting legal research and writing to support legal proceedings. The candidate will be responsible for the collection and organization of documents and information from various cases at the firm. This candidate should feel comfortable relaying messages between various groups and keeping all documents important to the cases they are working on organized. Responsibilities
Organization and compilation of pleadings, discovery, motions and other relevant legal documents for trial
Conduct legal research to assist attorneys in the preparation of cases
Assist in the organization of case dockets and patent activity
Handle a heavy case load
Create and maintain good client relationships
Assist attorneys with IP litigation cases, including e-filing with federal and appellate courts
Qualifications
5+years of paralegal experience in Intellectual Property
BA degree required
Paralegal certificate preferred
Hatch-Waxman experience a plus
Ability to meet strict deadlines
Ability to work independently and collaboratively to complete tasks
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of timekeeping and expense reporting
