LHH is working with our midsize law firm client in Manhattan who is looking to hire a Legal Executive Assistant to support their Private Clients/Trusts & Estates Department.

Location: Near Madison Square Park, on site 5 days a week for the first 3 months, 4 days onsite 1 day remote after that

Salary Range: $90K-$110K, bonus eligible (discretionary based on firm performance), healthcare benefits, 401K with profit sharing.

Years of Experience: At least 3 years working within Private Clients/Trust & Estates Department

Provide comprehensive support to a practice group, including the Chair and two other attorneys in the Private Clients Department. Responsibilities include managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating arrangements as needed.

Handle incoming telephone calls for attorneys and ensure they are directed appropriately. Build and maintain client relationships while delivering high-touch client service. Prepare correspondence and review, edit, and format legal documents with a strong emphasis on Trusts & Estates materials.

Collaborate with the Records team to keep the index of original, executed client documents current. Use Aderant for entering time, processing expense reports, submitting invoices, conflict checks, and client/matter intake forms. Work closely with a Billing Specialist to meet client billing requirements and assist in preparing attorneys’ monthly billing packages. Generate timekeeper and client/matter reports as needed.

Serve as the main point of contact for the department, liaising with other support teams. Manage and organize paper and electronic files in line with policy compliance using iManage. Assist with preparing large mailings as required.

A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with 3-5 years of experience as a legal assistant supporting Private Clients or Trusts & Estates practice groups. Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) is required, with experience in iManage and Aderant being a plus.



Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
