Job Title: Payroll & Benefits Manager
Location: Downtown Manhattan, NY (Hybrid Schedule: On-site Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; Remote Monday and Friday)
Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000 per year

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Manager to oversee and streamline payroll processing and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent service for our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Administration:
Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time using Ceridian Dayforce (preferred), ADP (secondary), or another payroll system (training available for alternative systems).
Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries regarding pay.
Handle payroll tax filings and generate required reports.
Benefits Administration:
Manage employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
Act as the primary contact for employees regarding benefits questions, resolving issues with carriers as needed.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including ACA reporting and audits.
Support the annual benefits renewal and open enrollment process.
HR Support:
Collaborate with the HR team to maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy.
Assist with HR reporting and analysis, utilizing advanced Excel skills to provide insights.
Support additional HR initiatives and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
Experience:
5+ years of overall Human Resources experience, including benefits administration.
3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in a payroll processing system; Ceridian Dayforce preferred, ADP second, but open to other systems with training available.
Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
Competencies:
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
