Payroll Coordinator, Temp to Perm, Hybrid New York

LHH Recruitment Solutions is collaborating with a well-respected client in New York City to recruit an experienced Payroll Coordinator for a temp-to-perm position. We are looking for someone who is highly detail-oriented, possesses a strong understanding of payroll processing, and is capable of ensuring timely and accurate payroll for employees. Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.

  • Maintain payroll records and documentation, including timesheets, deductions, and benefits.

  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management.

  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.

  • Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).

  • 3+ years of experience in payroll processing, with knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., UltiPro, UKG, or similar).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP) and other Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

$30-36/hr



Pay Details: $30.00 to $36.00 per hour
