An upscale multi-entity consumer/service company is seeking both a Staff Accountant and a Senior Accountant to join their team. These are newly created roles. The company offers great work-life balance, with hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM and 5 days in the office. The Controller is very understanding and will allow some flexibility if a situation arises where the incumbent occasionally needs a day or two to work from home . The organization offers an amazing opportunity to be mentored and develop, taking both their career and skillset to the next level at a manageable pace.

The role includes assisting in financial statement preparation, the month-end close process, performing intercompany transactions, recording journal entries, as well as day-to-day transactional accounting. The incumbent will be given the opportunity to transition into the role and take on more responsibilities over time to ensure success and learning.
