LHH is working on behalf of our client in the non-profit space who is seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to join their team on a Contract to Hire basis. This will be a hybrid in-office role in Manhattan, NY. Responsibilities:

- Manage full cycle Accounts Payable processing

- Support month- and year-end close processes

- Assist with financial statement preparation under GAAP standards

- Contribute to cash flow reconciliations and analysis

- Contribute to process improvement

- Ad hoc projects and reporting

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree required

- Prior non-profit industry experience required

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to maintain strong work ethic under strict deadlines

Compensation: $38 - $45/hr, depending on experience.
