Job Summary:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable / Cash Management Accountant to join our clients team on a part-time basis. This role will focus on managing accounts receivable, processing payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate cash flow reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and experience in financial accounting and cash management.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable:

  • Generate and send invoices to customers in a timely manner

  • Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and follow up on outstanding balances

  • Apply customer payments and reconcile accounts receivable ledger

  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to payments or invoices

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of AR transactions

Cash Management:

  • Process daily cash receipts and deposits

  • Reconcile bank accounts and cash balances to ensure accuracy

  • Monitor and forecast cash flow to support financial planning

  • Assist in preparing cash flow reports and analysis

  • Work with internal teams to optimize cash collection processes

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable and cash management

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reconciliation

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP)

  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
