Job Summary:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable / Cash Management Accountant to join our clients team on a part-time basis. This role will focus on managing accounts receivable, processing payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate cash flow reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and experience in financial accounting and cash management.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable:
Generate and send invoices to customers in a timely manner
Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and follow up on outstanding balances
Apply customer payments and reconcile accounts receivable ledger
Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to payments or invoices
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of AR transactions
Cash Management:
Process daily cash receipts and deposits
Reconcile bank accounts and cash balances to ensure accuracy
Monitor and forecast cash flow to support financial planning
Assist in preparing cash flow reports and analysis
Work with internal teams to optimize cash collection processes
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in accounts receivable and cash management
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reconciliation
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP)
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
